'Prophetic Alliance' reflects the delicate negotiation between human intention and material autonomy. While the artist initiates her process asserting form and composition, the resulting surfaces carry a sense of anticipation as materials continue to evolve beyond direct control, bending to the inevitable. Gravity falls in harmony with an inverted suspension through the artist's unyielding assertion of direction. Nonetheless, its course is set, marks drip mimicking nature’s rhythmic route. Coloured layers offer translucent veils that become a reminder of the fragile line of control and the humility to concede.
