GJG Catalogues Added to Watson Library At Metropolitan Museum of Art

Gillian Jason Gallery is pleased to announce that a selection of our digital exhibition catalogues has been added to the Thomas J. Watson Library at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The Watson Library is one of the world's most comprehensive research libraries for modern and contemporary art, supporting an international community of curators, researchers, artists, writers and scholars. Actively used by The Met's curatorial and research staff, as well as thousands of external users, the library's digital collections play a vital role in advancing the study and understanding of contemporary artistic practice.

This new digital archive brings together past catalogues from Gillian Jason Gallery, creating a central resource for exploring the practices and development of artists exhibited by the gallery. As a gallery committed to supporting female-identifying artists, this inclusion is particularly meaningful. The archive helps to document and preserve their work, capturing significant moments in their careers while contributing to the wider visibility, recognition and long-term study of their practices. We are grateful to the Thomas J. Watson Library for welcoming our publications into its collection and for supporting the continued dissemination of contemporary art research.
