Nancy ‘Nan’ Goldin is a American photographer, renowned for her deeply personal and candid portraiture. The artist’s most notable works in The Ballad of Sexual Dependency (1986) self-chronicled her life within the LGBT+ subcultures of New York during the 1980s.

Other notable works focus on the HIV and opioid crises. Her post-card-sized work, offers a striking portrayal and self-reflection of the USA’s opioid epidemic.
