GJG Anniversary Celebration

Overview
In celebration of its fourth anniversary, GJG presents a special showcase highlighting the breadth and vitality of its programme.

For this occasion, GJG's represented artists have developed a collection of works on paper, each offering a focused and individual perspective that reflects the character of their practice.

Bringing together our represented artists Megan Baker, Jess Cochrane, Jenya Datsko, Georgia Dymock, Alice Irwin, Eleanor Johnson, Colette LaVette, Clare Shenstone, Berenice Sydney and Milan Young, the presentation unites both established and emerging voices whose practices collectively shape the identity of the gallery. The works range from carefully observed studies that draw attention to subtle shifts in tone and structure to more intuitive and expressive pieces that explore the possibilities of gesture, colour and material. This diversity reflects the evolving ideas and processes that guide the programme and speaks to a shared commitment to experimentation and curiosity.

While each work stands with its own distinct presence, together they form a considered portrait of the voices that define GJG. This showcase celebrates the artists at the core of the gallery and acknowledges the ongoing development of the practices we are proud to champion.
