Overview
'The Lingering Sky', 2025 by Megan Baker
'The Lingering Sky', 2025 by Megan Baker

'Unbound Territories' unfolds as a dialogue between past, present, and future, demonstrating the breadth and depth of artistic innovation by women.

Within the rapidly growing globalisation of the art market, 'Unbound Territories' stands as a powerful testament to the creative force of women across generations, geographies, and media. Held at Foundry Downtown, the exhibition is a landmark collaboration between A+ Art Consultancy and Gillian Jason Gallery. While GJG is committed to championing women artists from across the generations, A+ Art is dedicated to connecting international artists with the growing art market in the UAE. Together, they promote a diverse range of all-female voices, from emerging talents such as Megan Baker and Pippa El-Kadhi Brown, to blue-chip icons like Bridget Riley and Louise Bourgeois.

'Unbound Territories' unfolds as a dialogue between past, present, and future, demonstrating the breadth and depth of artistic innovation by women. Across sculpture, printmaking, oil painting, painted photography, and works on paper, the show reveals the radical potential of materiality and form. Each work - whether meticulously structured or intuitively expressive - challenges the viewer's expectations, offering new ways of seeing and understanding the world.

As a city at the intersection of tradition and transformation, Dubai provides the ideal setting for such a convergence of artistic practices. The exhibition reflects the dynamism of the UAE's expanding cultural landscape while reinforcing the necessity of ongoing representation and visibility for women in art.
