Colette LaVette's paintings narrate the story of a mystical realm, where utopia and dystopia are intertwined in the lyrical portrayal of human nature. With biomorphic forms emerging from intuitive, expressionist marks, LaVette's paintings continue to provide intrigue as new elements are discovered each time they are viewed.
