Raine Storey is recognised for her expressive, texturally rich paintings that intertwine realism and abstraction.
Raine Storey has a multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, printmaking, and textile design. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) with a minor in Art History from Queen’s University in Ontario, where she was awarded the Loran Scholarship, Canada's largest undergraduate award. In 2021, she received the People's Choice Prize at the inaugural Viking Cruises British Art Prize for her oil painting Pink Cloud. Her exhibitions include solo and group shows across London, such as ‘Exquisite Corpse’ (2022) at The ARX Gallery during Frieze Week, and ‘Raine in Spring’ (2024) at Seceur Privé Gallery. She also participated in the London Art Biennale (2021, 2023). Storey's artworks are held in private collections and have been featured in publications such as Apollo Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, and Artists & Illustrators. She continues to develop her practice in London and Dorset.
