Contemporary Istanbul 2026: Istanbul, Turkey

We're delighted to announce that GJG will be exhibiting at the 21st edition of Contemporary Istanbul, taking place from 23 to 27 September 2026 at Tersane Istanbul. As Turkey's leading contemporary art fair, Contemporary Istanbul brings together an international roster of galleries and artists in one of the region's most dynamic cultural hubs.

For this edition, we are proud to present a group exhibition of six female artists: Tracey Emin, Leonora Carrington, Louise Bourgeois, Colette LaVette, Eline Martherus, and Manon Steyaert. The presentation brings together three leading historical figures alongside three contemporary artists carrying that legacy forward, each having forged an independent, singular visual language across painting, sculpture and unconventional materials outside prevailing conventions. This presentation reflects GJG's continued commitment to championing impactful female perspectives in contemporary art.
